Do you wish you had placemats for every occasion? With this easy-to-follow pattern, you can soon have just what you wish for.
The versatility of this placemat pattern will soon have you making several for yourself, for family and for friends. Plus, you are also welcome to use the pattern to make and give away/sell the placemats. As with all of my patterns, I do request you do not give away or sell copies of the pattern itself. If you have friends or family who would like their own copy, please direct them to my shop. Your support is appreciated.
The pattern calls for acrylic yarn, but you are welcome to use any worsted weight yarn you choose. I chose acrylic simply for the ease of care and long-lasting properties of acrylic. Placemats get dirty and need to be washed often, so choose a yarn which will withstand regular cleaning. Cotton yarn is also a durable alternative and is available in a variety of colours.
The placemat measures approximately 12" X 19" when finished.
